Daniel Mariuma has been musically inspired by the end of the disco age music playing in the radio, but more so by the musical abundance and the various styles brought to the world by MTV in the 90’s, when the pop and RNB culture became integral to Mariuma’s sounds of choice.

Throughout the years, and especially since entering the clubbing scene, his musical surrounding has developed, and a fuse of electronic music with different styles became an inseparable part from his musical world – house, progressive, electro, soul, deep, funk, groove, and new-disco are not foreign styles to Mariuma.

The mix between disco, 80’s melodies, pop, 90’s RNB, and the electronics of the second century, created a colourful blend of a musical library.

Teenage interest grew into a hobby, and soon after bloomed into a career. Now-a-days Mariuma produces and performed in musical events of up to thousands of participants.

Among these special events are:

  • Jerusalem Gay Pride events – 2008.
    • Tel-Aviv Gay Pride events; including work as DJ on the parade floats, central stage, and at the Pride Beach – 2011-2014.

    • TLVFEST: The gay film festival; DJ of the opening and closing events – 2011-2014.
    • Gay Pride events in Ashdod and Be’er-Sheva – 2010-2014.
